Joanna has been at St. John’s University since 2006, first as a Graduate Assistant and then in her current position as an International Student Advisor/DSO at International Student & Scholar Services Office. She speaks fluent Mandarin, reads and writes Chinese language with high proficiency.  Before becoming an Advisor for international students at St. John’s University, Joanna taught at New Jersey City University as an adjunct professor in History Department. She received her Master’s degree in East Asian Studies and Doctorate degree in Modern World History from St. John’s University.
